As a non-profit satellite for Kids Against Hunger, we are responsible to raise all of our own funds to purchase ingredients and supplies such as bags, boxes, hair nets, hand sanitizer, cleaners. By combining our efforts with other satellites and purchasing in bulk, we are able to keep our food costs as low as possible, currently just 23 cents/meal. On average, each volunteer packages approximately 150-180 meals/hour depending on their age and experience which represents approximately $40-$45 that we must raise per packager per event. We ask all groups to fundraise or look for a sponsor to help defer the cost of their event. We have put together a list of proven fundraisers.
